For the last twenty years instructor Bill Whaley has taught a writer’s “revision” course, focused on the practice at universities and in private classes. Whether you approach writing as a craft or an art, as drudgery or spiritual and therapeutic exercise, reading writing and thinking all benefit from the clarification of “rewriting.”  Beginners, Intermediate, and advanced writers are welcome. We all benefit from exploring the fundamentals discussed and responses to work in a workshop setting.

Fees include books and editorial response via hard copy and email. The instructor will furnish and review Joseph Williams’ Style: Lessons in Clarity and Grace and Joseph Lopate’sThe Art of the Personal Essay.

Class size will be limited to the first ten who indicate interest by emailing and confirm by sending a check for $100 to Bill Whaley at 125 De Teves, Unit B, Taos, NM 87571. (10% off for THM members and 10% of fees goes to THM).
